About Lifecare
How are we linked to Circles Network?
The Lifecare Trust was absorbed by Circles Network in 2003. The Trustees of Lifecare chose Circles Network to continue the work of Lifecare because they respected the work of this charity and felt that Circles Network would be able to develop and strengthen Lifecare. Lifecare now has a separate Board of Trustees, so it is run independently from Circles Network but it is a sister organisation working to the same guiding principles and values.
Value Base
Our style of work provides a unique form of advocacy and empowerment for people and has evolved with careful thought over a number of years. The Lifecare Trust plans to continue to gain the strength and resources to offer effective leadership to individuals and organisations that want to be involved on this journey of social inclusion. A strong unshifting value base underpins our work. Inclusion as a broad concept means creating communities where every member belongs and is accepted as a contributing citizen regardless of ability. or label. Inclusion thus leads us to live our lives alongside one another despite our differences. We believe that all people have gifts and capabilities and have the right to dream for their own personal aspirations. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and maintain the highest standards in ensuring that inclusion becomes a reality in our lifetimes.
